MUSkAN is a cutting-edge tool that will transform the diagnostics of oral health. This innovative project, created by Anubhav Shivam Nath, offers precise and instantaneous insights into dental health by fusing cutting-edge AI technology with a small physical device. MUSkAN, which is currently in beta testing, has the potential to revolutionize oral care by being accessible, accurate, and convenient.
How It Works
AI Model
- Trained using the YOLOv8 model on a dataset of 5000 teeth images, this AI model specializes in detecting dental issues such as caries, cavities, and cracks.
- The processed data is further analyzed by a second AI model, LLaMA3, which generates a detailed diagnosis.
Physical Device
- Equipped with an MQ136 hydrogen sulfide gas sensor, MUSkAN can detect signs of bad breath by analyzing hydrogen sulfide levels.
- A temperature sensor monitors the user's oral temperature, aiding in the detection of abnormalities.
- Combined with the AI's analysis, the device offers an all-encompassing view of oral health.
